Some people like to change their hair color. This may be for the arrival of a new season or the summer weather. They may also want to change their minds after waking up one morning by being fed up with the same color. For others, there is a more aesthetic reason: to hide grey hairs! Whatever your reason for wanting to change color, you may be afraid to because of the rumors about the toxicity of some supermarket products (they contain plenty of less recommended chemicals: ammonia, paraphenylenediamine, toluene, methylenebis- Aminophenol, formaldehyde, etc.). Before going to the hairdresser, why not try to offer a natural coloring that will allow you to change your colour without risk. Here are some amazing ways to do it.
1) Coffee
If you have medium brown to light brown hair, coffee is a great way to color them while getting nice reflections and looking after the hair. The coffee will indeed protect the keratin from the hair and fortify them. Good to know, if you do this staining once a week, the result will be gradually more intense.
What you will need:
- An espresso
- A little bit of white vinegar
- A little bit of clear honey
Method:
1) Mix the ingredients in equal parts to obtain a smooth, not too liquid texture.
2) Wash your hair and wring it well to remove excess water.
3) Apply the mixture as a mask and leave it for about 20 minutes before rinsing thoroughly.
2) Sage against grey hair
Sage will cover white hair better than coffee. For best use, 200 g of leaves should be infused. Boil a liter of water and dip your leaves. Let it boil for half an hour and then let cool. Use it as a mask and leave it for 30 minutes before shampooing. Remember to rinse thoroughly after application and wash as usual.
3)Cocoa for delicious chocolate reflections
Cocoa can cover gray hair, but the application time is longer than other natural dyes, so apply it and be patient
What you will need:
- 3 tablespoons of cocoa powder
- 3 tablespoons of milk
Method:
1) Mix well the ingredients
2) Apply it onto dry hair
3) Leave to rest for a good hour.
