Coffee filters are not only a product that has been well designed to prepare your coffee but they also have surprising uses that you may not have thought of.

Trick 1:

Place a filter onto your clean frying pan to absorb any left over fats which will help prevent rust forming.

Filters can be used a linen softener, if you don’t have any left. Soak in some white vinegar and essential oils, then place the filter in your machine

Put in peppers grains, garlic and bay leaves, close the filter shut and tie with a piece of string. Let it soak into your cooking (soups, stews etc.). The flavours held in the filter will add an extra delicious kick to your dish. Don’t forget to pull out the sachet before serving.

Once you have used your filter for coffee, it can be used to reduce puffiness under the eyes. Simply wait until the filter is cold and dab the humid filter under the eyes.
