5) In the case of tummy aches (no matter what kind), put down a plastic matress cover and double the sheets.

If your child gets sick, you’ll only have to remove the dirty sheet and put your child back to bed.

6) Make honey lollipops to soothe a sore throat

Heat 340 g of honey with 4 drops of lemon essential oil (or organic lemon extract). Bring the honey to 150° and stir it well (checking the temperature with a kitchen thermometer) and then take a spoon of the honey, which you allow to run onto a silicone tray. Add a lollipop stick to the centre of it and leave it to cool.

Honey loses its health benefits during cooking, but the lollipop will still soothe a sore throat or a cough.

7) In the case of vomiting on a rug or a carpet, generously sprinkle bicarbonate of soda on it

This will get rid of odours and dry out the vomit. Once it is dry, simply vacuum it up.

8) And to save time the next time, put down a waterproof rug (usually used for cats or dogs) in case it happens again.
