The vacuum cleaner is a valuable tool in looking after the house. Less tiring than sweeping and faster too, it’s an indispensable daily ally. Super on all surfaces (floors, rugs, cars…). Here are a few tips for how to use your vacuum cleaner to make your life even easier and do jobs for you that you never expected it to.
1) Easily create a customised nozzle
We don’t always have all the necessary nozzles at our fingertips…. And going to look for them while in the middle of vacuuming just seems like more work. A toilet paper roll that you bend into the shape you need is perfect for those hard to reach nooks and crannies.
2) Removing textured paint
A paint knife fixed to the tip of the vacuum cleaner allows you to remove the old paint, while the vacuum hoovers up the pieces that fall. It’s the perfect solution to avoid getting dried paint everywhere.
3) For dads (with an eye for hairdressing)
Sometimes, doting dads look at their daughters’ hair as if they never saw a head of hair in their lives. To help them with their styling technique (and to entertain them a little), try this tip, placing a hair elastic on the hose and vacuuming the hair before sliding the elastic on to the hair. Great results every time!
