2 tips to clean limescale off your kettle

5/5 - (1 vote)

Limescale build up in your kettle is horrid and ruins a nice cup of tea! Here are two tricks to getting rid of limescale inside your kettle:

1. Boil the kettle with some white wine vinegar, and leave for roughly 15 minutes. Rinse well after each application until there is no more limescale buildup and clean the kettle to remove any vinegar, to prevent a horrid taste in your tea or coffee!

 2. Using a cleaned oyster shell, place it into your kettle and turn on the kettle to boil. Whilst boiling the limescale will fix onto the shell and clean your kettle.
