If you are driving a new car, renting one or borrowing a car from someone, then it can often be hard to remember where the petrol cap is. Rather than opening the car door and sticking your head out to have a look when you get to the petrol station, instead look at your dashboard! Next to the petrol pump sign there is an arrow, this arrow is the indicator to which side your petrol cap is. How we never noticed it before?!
3) Not burn your hands
Sometimes we forget that when we leave the car in the sun during a very hot day that the steering wheel can get very hot, hence burning our hands when we touch it. To avoid this, when parking in the sun; turn the wheel 180° before leaving the vehicle.
4) Against small scratches
Apply a little nail varnish of the same colour onto your cars body work to make scratches disappear.
5) Against car odour

The evening before, rub your windows with a potato cut in half. The next day, there will be no fog!
7) Find your car in a full car park

8)Travelling with pizza
When collecting a takeaway pizza, if you have heated seats turn them on! You pizza will stay nice and warm. Also leave a bottle of water onto the seat to keep the pizza boxes flat.
9) A nice smelling car
If you have animals in your car, your smoke or transport objects that make a smell, you can risk having horrible smells inside your car. To prevent this, use fabric softener sheets to absorb the odors. Another top tip: Instead of fragrant hangers instead use tea sachets which will leave a nice smell and prevent humidity in your car.
10) Cool your car quickly
During the summer we do everything that we can to not park in the sun, however there are often times were we can’t avoid it and there is not spaces left in the shade. The quickest way to cool your car and make it less hot and suffocating is to open the window on the drivers side and then open the front passenger door. Open and close the door a few times to help push the hot air out and cool the car quicker.
