1) Help fertilization and fruit development
Pollinating insects will change your life. Indeed they carry pollen from flower to flower and thus facilitate fertilization. Craft an insect hotel with logs, straw, bricks, earth, branches … or buy it in a garden center. In this way, your garden will house bees, butterflies, wasps, bumblebees …
2) More parasites!
Are you sick of your plantations being devoured by small parasites? Ladybugs will get rid of aphids. To attract them, let grow a few nettles and piles of dry grass.
Frogs and lizards will take care of snails and slugs. To attract frogs, arrange a damp and shaded area with a little foam, leaves, and large stones, ideally make a small pond. For lizards, just make a wall with small holes so that these can hide from the cat!
The hedgehog will devour the big white worms in your kitchen garden! To attract them, install piles of wood and dry leaves and add some apples and cat food.
3) Fertilize the ground
The earthworm hollows galleries and produces nutrients and minerals that are essential for plant development. Avoid all types of chemicals, especially those based on metallic salt, turn the soil regularly and water it at the end of the day to keep a little moisture in the soil.
