1 – White vinegar:
Normally used as a cleaning product, white vinegar diluted with a little water can disinfect wounds. Apply it directly to the cut with cotton wool and bob’s your uncle!

2 – Honey
Honey is very useful for cuts and burns. Applied directly to the skin, it disinfects and helps wounds heal. Cover the wound with cellophane or a cotton compress to keep it in place.

3 – Turmeric
Turmeric has antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties. Applied directly to the skin, it accelerates the healing process.
4 – Cabbage
Surprisingly, cabbage is very effective for burns, eczema or chapped skin, because it cleans and disinfects. Wash the leaves in luke-warm water and flatten them with a rolling pin before placing them on the wound.
