Does your computer heat up a lot? If so it’s a little more disturbing. This means that the heat of your computer exceeds the authorized security threshold. It will then start to freeze or even shut down suddenly without you being able to save your work in progress!
If the computer is in extreme overheating, the electronics may even stop working permanently.
1/ Lift your computer
If your computer heats up slightly, just raise it with bottle caps of the same size or stick rubber buttons underneath. You can also opt for a box of egg.
2/ Place it on a hard surface
Place your computer on a flat, hard surface if possible, dissipating heat will be faster than on a mattress.
3/ Clean the vents
Dust can sometimes be responsible for overheating your computer. Remember to clean the vents of your computer with a air spray.
4/ Free up space and disable programs at startup
It may also be that your computer is working too much because of a large number of programs that start at startup. Consider disabling those you do not need and deleting files that are no longer needed.
