Have you ever found yourself with mismatched sheets that did not fit together? Have you ever struggled to find what you needed in the cupboard and find the right bed linen in the right size? If you answered yes to one of these questions, look no further, it’s probably because of an organizational problem. Enjoy the excuse of spring cleaning to organise all your sheets and put them away properly to save time, as well as room and stop pulling your hair off.
1) Indicate the size of the sheets in the corner
Crib? Single bed? Double bed? Double beds of different sizes? Difficult to find when there are several at home and that the sheets multiply, especially when you buy different sizes and everything is mixed. By writing discreetly in a corner a letter for each size, you can find and differentiate your sheets without unfolding them. Ex: Baby bed = B; Single bed = S; Double bed = D … It’s up to you to find your code.
2) Store the sheets in the matching pillowcase
Put the sheet-cover, the duvet cover … in the pillowcase to find everything in the same place.
3) Store sheets vertically to save space
This way, everything is accessible: you do not need to remove a part of the stack to have access to the right sheet and have to put everything back afterwards. It also works for clothes, it’s just perfect!
4) If you have a large closet, take advantage of the different shelves and separate sheets of different sizes.
Put the single sheets on a shelf bottom (to be accessible to children) and double sheets on the other. Even if the sheets are similar, you will not be able to mix them.
