4 tips to allow you to shave less often

We can all agree that shaving isn’t the ideal way of removing unwanted hair, because it grows back quickly and thickly! But thanks to the following advice, you can limit regrowth and therefore shave a little less often.

1 – Take care of your skin

The day beforehand, exfoliate the area for shaving, in order to remove the dead skin cells and reduce the risk of ingrown hairs. Shaving should then be easier and less abrasive on your skin. Clean the area afterwards, to get rid of sweat (for example in the armpits). Be sure to shave only the legs and armpits, and certainly never the bikini line or the face! For the bikini line, the regrowth can be itchy and irritating, and for the face -well, suffice to say you’re not going to want to see a beard forming under your nose!

2 – Choose your razor well

A razor with at least three blades will be the most effective. Change it regularly and try out different brands, to find the one that works the best for you. Never let your razor go rusty! Shave closely in the direction of the regrowth to avoid discomfort. Use a shaving gel to protect your skin. A little bird also told us that conditioner is just as effective and keeps your skin nice and smooth.

3 – Clean your razor

Don’t forget to clean your razor well afterwards, so that it doesn’t wear out prematurely. A worn razor can irritate the skin and cause nicks and cuts.

4 – No really, take care of your skin!!

Don’t forget to moisturise your skin after shaving, because even with an expert touch, shaving dries out the skin. For the armpits, you can apply a little talc to soothe the skin in this area.
