Vegetables are the beast for some children, while others love it. The reasons for these differences are varied but with a few tricks and thinking about why they have a lack of interest in these healthy foods, you can turn them into big fans of vegetables!
1) Get them to cook
Your children will be more motivated to eat something they have helped prepare and will be very proud of. Preparing dishes with the family is also an activity that brings everyone together for a family moment and makes everyone aware of the importance of helping each other, being supportive and doing the tasks together (rather than having One person who does everything). Moreover, they will be quickly independent and will be able to make nice dishes faster. Obviously it is out of the question to ask them to deal with things that are too complicated for their age, but shelling peas, peeling carrots or removing green beans can be activities that can be done by younger ones.
2) Knowledge of Ingredients
There is nothing less attractive than a tin can or frozen food, both in terms of presentation and taste. Going to the market can be a great way to attract them and create interest by seeing all these pretty colors, the smell of delicious fruit that makes your mouth water and strangely shaped vegetables. They will have more desire to be improvised tasters with such beautiful references in mind.
Why not do gardening or even pick your own? Go on a beautiful and long walk, pick up products and eat them quietly at home: what a pleasure! And it’s fun to plant seeds and see them grow bigger and bigger at a glance!
3) Textures
Does this vegetable frighten your kid? Play a trick on them with fries made other colored vegetable and not potatoes. Tagliatelle of courgette are playful and will give a more positive view of this vegetable rather than simple squares. Surprise assured!
4) A fun plate
Be creative. Make a funny presentation to stimulate the taste buds!
Plus, using her favorite colorful cutlery and pretty plates with superheroes at the bottom will make her even more envious. For ideas check out this article
5) Gourmet Cooking
