It is never comfortable to be in close proximity with someone who has bad breath and it isn’t nice when it happens to you. Bad breath has many possible causes (questionable oral hygiene, Phobia of the dentist since childhood trauma, diet, dry mouth …). And whether it’s a matter of a few hours or all day, do not be afraid! You can find natural solutions to overcome it. For those who do not know it or are not sure if they have bad breath, you can test out our trick and do these tips too as they will help you maintain a good mouth hygiene.
1)Know if you have bad breath
For this, you need a spoon. Gently scratch the back of the tongue and smell what you have just picked up. Is the smell unpleasant? Bad luck, you have bad breath. Nothing to report? In that case, you are good.
If you don’t have a spoon suck your thumb for a few minutes, then leave it to dry. Smell your thumb once it is dry.
2)Don’t tempt the devil
Often, odors come from your diet. Avoid high-risk foods like ginger, garlic, onions, fish, cheese or alcohol (especially whisky). Food containing sulfide is very risky if you want to reduce your bad breath.
And of course, to have impeccable oral hygiene: brush your teeth at least twice a day, use dental floss and changing your toothbrush every three months
3) Citrus fruits
Drink a lemon water throughout the day so as not to have this questionable bad breath problem. Drinking a lot helps to keep the mouth moist, but it is saliva that helps to fight smelly odors so you must avoid dry mouth. You can also consume fruits rich in vitamin C after the meal or in the day to solve the problem.
4) Gargle
Gargle daily water mixed with a few spoons of baking soda
5) A formidable mouthwash
Add fresh parsley and a little clove in boiling water and let it infuse. Use this cooled mixture to rinse your mouth and rid it of bad odors.
6) Parsley
You can also chew fresh parsley to refresh your breath
7) Green or black tea
These decoctions will offer you a fresh breath like never before!
