7 Remedies to fight and reduce Rosacea

Skin that suffers from Rosacea is a skin that is red where the blood vessels are very apparent. Very sensitive, those who have this skin condition must use gentle products and use gentle movements. If you look after your skin and protect it from the sun, the redness can reduce significantly. 

1) The mixture to try

In a little container, mix 100ml of gentle almond oil, 30 drop of Ylang Ylang essential oil, 20 drops of Geranium Rosat essential oil and 50 drops of lemon essential oil. Massage it gently every evening into your skin for 5 minutes.

2) Mallow flower evening lotion

In a litre of boiling water, add 50g of mallow flower and leave to simmer for 15 minutes. Turn of the heat and leave to cool. Filter the lotion and use it in the evenings when it is cold.

3) Lime lotion

Leave to infuse 30g of lime leaves in one liter of boiling water. Filter and leave to cool before using.

4) The treatment using lemon and clay: very effective

Using a little cotton, apply the clay water on your affected zones. Then pass over a slice of lemon onto the skin.

5) The celeriac mask 

You can apply it as a warm mask onto your skin. Cut and cook the celeriac with steam and them press into a puree. Apply onto your face warm and leave for 30 minutes.

6) Organic hemp oil

This rich oil in omega 3, will repair,  relieve and sooth the skin. Add this to your daily skin routine.

7) Oats mask

Mix two soup spoons of oats cream with a soup spoon of almond oil. Add 3 drops of rose essential oil and apply to your skin, leaving it for 15 minutes. Rinse off  with warm water.

To avoid:

Certain factors can aggravate your Rosacea, you need to pay attention to what you are doing and what you are eating. It is recommended to watch your alcohol consumption, especially wine and beer. Also be careful to not eat food that it too hot and spicy, too much lactose as well as certain fruit and vegetables (grapes, tomatoes, bananas). Also know that extreme temperatures of high heats will irritate your Rosacea, if you are doing sport, practice the sport at cooler times of the day.
