Heavy legs bring unpleasant sensations such as pain, tingling or edema (swelling). These discomforts that many women feel, are related to poor blood circulation. There are many ways to soothe yourself from any pain. Here are some of the best remedies that will not fail to give you back, light and enjoyable legs!
1) The position that helps
When you have the opportunity, do not hesitate to put your legs vertically by pressing them against a wall for about ten minutes to stimulate the circulation.
2) Be brave and jump into the water!
Cold water will help if after your shower you pass a cold jet of water up and down your legs for 15 minutes.
You can also choose a cold bath for your legs, with 5 or 6 dissolve-able aspirins and rest your legs in the cold water for 15 minutes.
3) Food bath with red vines
In an organic or herb shop, find some red vine leaves. Boil a liter of water and add 2 handfuls of vine leaves, let it boil for two minutes before removing from the hob. Leave it for about 10 min then, if the temperature is not too hot, immerse your feet for 20min.
4) Compress with green clay
In 500ml of warm water, pour 3 tablespoons of green clay powder. Mix and leave to rest about 1 hour. Then for 30min put it on as a compresses (otherwise you can also use gloves, old tights or towels). Place them on your calves and ankles.
5) Aloe Vera Gel
The aloe Vera gel is invigorating and refreshing, mixed with Cypress essential oil that promotes circulation and peppermint which gives a nice fresh smell, you can say goodbye to heavy legs.
What you will need:
- 30 g aloe vera gel
- 5 drops of Cypress Essential oil
- 10 drops of Peppermint Essential oil
Method:
1) Prepare your aloe vera gel
2) Add the drops of both essential oils
3) Mix quickly and thoroughly with a whisk
4) Apply, massaging into the feet and working up the legs
6) Peppermint
Dilute a few drops of peppermint essential oil with some vegetable oil and use a massaging tool. Massage into your legs.
7) Cypress essential oils
Mix Cypress essential oil with some Tamanu essential oil (5 drops of each) and massage into your ankle to your knee.
8) The ultimate remedy!
What you will need:
- 150 ml of Olive Oil
- 50 drops of Cypress essential oil
- 20 drops of lemon essential oil
Method:
1) Pour the olive oil into a recipient
2) Add the Cypress essential oil drops.
3) Mix it all with the lemon essential oil
4) Massage from the bottom to the top
