An amazing trick to put an end to sleeplessness

Anxiety can sometimes trigger sleeplessness or insomnia. It means you are so preoccupied that even if you are tired, your brain just won’t switch to its standby mode. For many people, the only possible solution seems to take sleeping pills but other people are reluctant to the idea of depending on pills to live their lives. Before getting pills, you could try this little tip to fall asleep naturally and easily and to prevent a sleepless night.

What you’ll need:

  • A basin
  • Cold water

Step by step:

1) Before going to bed, fill in a basin with cold water.

2) Cover well the upper part of your body.

3) Soak your feet in the water for about 30 seconds. This might not be the most pleasant sensation but we only want to redirect blood to the lower part of your body.

4) Wipe quickly the water with a towel and go to bed.
