Banana tea -a natural sleeping pill!

At some stage in all of our lives, for some reason or another, we will have trouble sleeping. Rather than heading for the doctor’s office for solutions, which often leads to being prescribed medication, try out this foolproof natural solution. Replace sleepless nights with long restful sleeps, thanks to banana tea!

This infusion relaxes the muscles, and soothes and relieves the body. It is important to use organic bananas to avoid ingesting toxins.

What you need:

  • A pot of water
  • A banana
  • A teaspoon of cinnamon

What to do:

1/ Cut the two ends off the banana

2/ Bring the water to a simmer and add the banana and cinnamon.

3/ Leave to cook for 10 minutes. It is normal for the water to boil!

4/ Remove the banana (you can throw it out or compost it) and pour the liquid through a tea strainer into a mug or cup.

Drink your tea and enjoy a restful night’s sleep!
