The Steps :
1) Start by inspecting the dishwashers drain and the open the reservoir plug to check if there is any dirt building up. Wipe the dirt away with a sponge if necessary getting rid of anything clogging the drain.
2) Fill your bowl with vinegar
3) Place the bowl in the top shelf of your dishwasher and set off the machine on a short cycle with a high temperature.
4) When it is finished, sprinkle bicarbonate soda on the lower section of the dishwasher. Don’t be afraid to use a big handful. Set the machine off on a second very short and hot cycle.
Things to note : Although two rinses may seem excessive, that is why they are short cycles (so as to use as little water as possible). Once you have carried out these steps your dishwasher will be more effective than ever. What’s more you won’t have to waste anymore water by having to rewash badly cleaned dishes again. This deep rinse shouldn’t need to be repeated for a while so you can rest easy!
