Another good way to limit your impact on the environment: make your own disinfectant wipes with this quick and easy tutorial. You can kill two birds with one stone: the wipes are re-usable so not only do you save money, but you can help save the planet too!
You will need:
- Reusable wipes
- 4 cups of hot water
- 3 teaspoons of olive oil soap (biodegradable soap made with olive oil, water and soda)
- Essential oils of your choice (10 drops of each), preferably lemon or lavender
- An airtight jar
Method:
1 -Pour two cups of hot water into the jar and add the olive oil soap.
2 – Add in your essential oils and mix well.
3 -Roll your wipes and place them standing vertically in the jar. Don’t hesitate to cut them if they are too big.
4 – Pour the rest of the hot water on top of the wipes.
You can use these wipes for kitchen and bathroom surfaces. Rejoice! You’ve saved money and done something for the planet!
