Easiest method to get rid of rust marks

When you see rust appearing on an object it is easy to think that you will never be able to use the object again and that you are going to have to replace it.  However there are many techniques to get rid of rust which can give your pots and pans a red tinge.  Seeing as we are all looking to save a bit money, these tips are always good to have up your sleeve.  Read on to find out how to get rid of rust marks with two very simple objects! 

What you need:

  • Bottle of coke
  • Tin foil

Steps:

1) Soak the effect object in coke trying to make sure that all corners of the object are covered.  Leave to react for a few moments.

2) Take some aluminum foil and then scrunch it up to make a ball.

3) As we have recommended in the article about making a burnt pan look as good as new, you can use a ball of tin foil as you would with a steel cloth.  Now remove the rust from the object.

4) All you need to do is rinse carefully!
