We have previously given you a recipe for making your own dishwasher tablets, and today it’s time to give a go at a liquid alternative! This mixture has the advantage of being quick and easy to make.
What you need:
- 3 lemons
- 200 g of coarse salt
- 250 ml of white vinegar
- ½ litre of water
Method:
1) Squeeze three lemons to extract the juice.

2) Put all of the ingredients into a pot, after having measured them carefully, and stir well.
3) Bring the mixture to the boil and boil it for 15 to 20 minutes.

4) To avoid blocking up your machine (with the pips), strain the mixture and leave it to cool.
5) Bottle it for storage and use 3 tablespoons per wash.
