A small nip as you pluck your eyebrows can lead to soreness and waxing can leave a redness. It is said that you have to suffer to be beautiful… but there are ways to prevent it from being painful.

1) Trick: Prepare the zone

By preparing the area, you will ensure a reduced pain. To do this, adopt the technique of using the cold so that the skin is anaesthetised and numb. Before proceeding to waxing or plucking, it helps by passing an ice cube over the area beforehand.

If you are going to trim your eyebrows with wax you can add a little talc to the zone under the eyebrow to limit the soreness once you wax. You will stil be able to remove the eyebrow hairs.

2) Adopt the right gestures

If you use tweezers, do not hesitate to pull the skin slightly with your finger in the opposite direction of the direction of depilation (do not pull too much or risk to hurt yourself). The direction of hair removal must follow the hair growth. If you pull in the opposite direction of the shoot, you will create more pain unnecessarily and this will not necessarily be more effective.

3) Management

If nevertheless, you feel pain, press the painful area with the tip of a finger.

Wipe 60 ° alcohol on the area and on the tweezer tip to avoid small pimples and redness.
