By washing towels with doses of detergents higher than the required doses (because the detergent dose cups sizes are bigger than you need to make you consume more laundry to make you buy more quicker), they lose their quality of absorption. Despite the towel being dry, your body isn’t getting dry and it is very frustrating and annoying! Nevertheless, you can make your towels absorbent again very easily with this trick. Also, you can try it with towels you just bought and that are too soft to wipe anything off.
What you will need:
- 250 ml of white vinegar
- 115 g of bicarbonate of soda
How to make it:
1) Wash your towels by opting for a warm wash without laundry or softener. Just put the white vinegar into the laundry tray before starting the wash cycle.
2) Then wash your towels in the same way, but substituting the white vinegar with baking soda for this wash cycle.
Result: after these two wash cycles, your towels will absorb better. In addition, if smells were encrusted, they would have disappeared after these washes.
