We’ll keep it simple: we hate flies. Nothing annoys us more than to see them gamboling gaily all over our our food, with their crawly little legs. Therefore, we’re always happy to learn of a new way to keep them at bay, and deter them from coming into the house.
The following technique works by frightening off flies. It involves placing plastic bags filled with water and coins at the entrances to your home. This cause rays of light to be reflected that remind the flies of the sun or the moon. The flies are afraid of this for a number of possible reasons: maybe this reminds them of dangerous bodies of water that could drown them, or of spider webs in which they could be captured. No matter what the reason, this method doesn’t cost much and isn’t dangerous for your health. If for no other reason, it’s worth trying out this new technique, even if we’ve surely seen prettier decorations! You can create the same type of effect with a CD or an old DVD.
