For an origional decoration on your cake decorations make your own violet flowers frozen in sugar.
Items needed:
- Fresh violette flowers cut from a known garden or purchased from a organic store or dietry shop.
- 1 egg white
- Icing shugar
- A baking tray
- A pair of tweezers
How to do it?
1. If it has not already been done remove the green tab of the flower at the base of the petals.
2. Beat the egg white until soft.
3. Dip the flowers into the egg whites using the tweezers.
4. Roll the flowers into the icing sugar.
5. Dry your covered flowers flat onto the baking tray.
6. When the sugar has dried onto the flowers you can then add them to use on a cake as decorations.
