Jeans that discolour easily are a real nuisance. The colour comes off on your skin, your clothes, your handbag -it basically goes on to everything it touches. During washing it’s the same problem -it’s impossible to wash them without their colour dying everything else in the wash. But thanks to this easy tip, it will be problem solved!
What you need:
- Coarse salt
- A basin of lukewarm water
What to do:
1/ In a basin of lukewarm water, dissolve 5 dessertspoons of coarse salt
2/ Immerse your jeans, stir them around and allow them to soak overnight.
3/ The next morning, take your jeans out of the basin and give them a turn in the washing machine.
You can repeat these steps if necessary but normally once should suffice. The coarse salt fixes the colour and stops the discolouration. Afterwards, wear your jeans when you like, where you like, how you like!
