Tip to prevent frost build-up in the freezer

5/5 - (2 votes)

When frost gets the upper hand, it can be a pain! You have less space for your boxes of fish fingers (lifesavers when you don’t have enough time or inspiration for cooking…. or even in the case of laziness!) or to store the ice creams that help you get through the summer heat. We have already told you how to quickly defrost your freezer, without having to wear yourself out with scraping. Here is another tip to ensure that frost doesn’t form as quickly!

What you need:

  • Cooking oil or glycerin

What to do:

1) Defrost your freezer.

2) Apply the oil to the walls of the freezer so that less ice will stick to it. That should slow the process of the formation of frost and allows you to go longer without having to defrost the freezer.
