Try this nourishing mask for super soft skin

After a particularly long winter, our skin can not only be fragile, but above all completely dried out. With the real spring weather only beginning, your skin can feel a bit like sandpaper! To get that lovely, silky smooth feeling back, here is a recipe for a skin-saving mask. Tried and tested! 

What you need:

  • 1 teaspoon of organic honey
  • 1/2 a banana
  • 1 teaspoon of wheatgerm oil
  • 1 dessertspoon of thick creme fraiche
  • 2 drops of sweet orange essential oil
  • 1 teaspoon of ground colloidal oatmeal
  • 1 teaspoon of Roman chamomile flower water

Method:

1) Peel the banana and reduce it to a purée in a bowl.

2) Little by little, add the other ingredients: the creme fraiche, the wheatgerm oil, the honey, the flower water and the oatmeal.

3) Gently mix it all together.

4) When the mixture is even, add the essential oil and stir it once more.

5) Apply the mask to your skin, avoiding the eye area. If you can, put a little on your neck and cleavage, which we can tend to forget about. Leave it to work for 10 to 15 minutes and rinse with cool water.

Note that this mask doesn’t keep. Make it on the day you plan to use it.
