There is nothing more yummy than perfect and tasty hard boiled eggs in a salad or to complete your meal. But because of their fragility, the eggs can quickly break and you end up with egg whites in the cooking water and your egg is deformed … not very pretty and especially, not very presentable! Here’s how to avoid it.
1) Perfect cooking water
Before putting your eggs into boiling water, consider adding a few drops of white vinegar in the water. The shells will not risk breaking since the vinegar will strengthen their shell.
It happens that the eggs are already a little damaged without anyone realizing it. Thanks to the white vinegar, their contents do not pour into the cooking water and remain gently in the shell.
2) Kitchen towel!
Before cooking, wrap the eggs well with paper towels and cook them. The paper towel will prevent disasters and keep eggs intact.
The bonus tip: Do not forget to turn the egg with a spatula 2 or 3 times during cooking. This will center the yellow. Result: perfect eggs!
