Lots of people like a leather sofa as it is both stylish and practical. But with all the daily use it undergoes, it’s obviously never going to be spared from the dirt that can quickly build up. The problem is we don’t always know how to give our leather sofa a clean without spoiling the material, or more importantly, without too much effort. Here is a very simple technique to keep your leather sofa in check. It’s one you will never be able to live without again!
What you need :
- A small basin of water
- A face cloth
- Marseille Soap or vegetable-based soap equivalent

1) Wet your face cloth and generously lather soap onto the cloth. See below:
2) Use this cloth to wash your sofa, rubbing well and not forgetting the arm rests. If necessary rinse and soak your face cloth with the soap another time.
3) Rinse the face cloth and give the sofa another wipe to get rid of any soap residue. After following these simple steps your sofa will be much cleaner and look in a much better condition.
