How to fight against hemorrhoids

When the pain starts, we think we are the only ones who suffer, because noone talks about it, yet half of the population will suffer from hemorrhoids at some point. 

As well as conventional treatment there are some bad habits that should be banned from your daily life if you wish to regain some comfort:

  • Avoid eating too spicy or too sugary foods.
  • Practice regular physical activity for at least 20 minutes a day to reactivate your blood circulation.
  • Eat fibre, which can be found in fruit; vegetables and wholegrain cereals.

This last solution is the most important. If your food does not provide you with enough fibre, use a fibre supplement such as Regucol, which can be purchased from pharmacists and health stores. Mix the Regucol with water and drink. High in fibre it acts like a sponge when mixed with fluid, absorbing more than twenty times their weight, and the mix of bacterias help maintain the balance of bacteria within the intestinal tract.  You can also buy analgesic creams and apply them before using the toilet.

With these regular steps to avoid constipation, the passage of toilet should no longer cause suffering.
